Free My Soul

Trees great and tall.
I wish my life was like that all.
Free of sorrow and grief.
Enjoying the rustle through my leafs.
Birds sitting around me.
Singing the song of the free.

Days long and forlorn,
Captured and alone.
You arrived and sworn,
“I shall free your soul.”

Water cold and frail,
That is what I have became.
Then a sun so bright came.
You had lit the way.
Together we were steam,
Formed by a natures dream.

Days long and forlorn,
Captured and alone.
You arrived and sworn,
“I shall free your soul.”

You came and kissed away, the sorrow.
Saying, “you shall feel no more hollow”.
I finally longed, for every tomorrow.

Days long and forlorn,
Captured and alone.
You arrived and sworn,
“I shall free your soul.”

You promised and came,
I shall feel no more pain.
